PLATO 2
The law on the consolidation of cancer registry data, passed in mid-2021, establishes the framework for the nationwide consolidation of medical treatment data for people with cancer. Leading oncology organizations and representatives of cancer registries intend, as provided for in the law, to jointly develop a concept for a platform that enables nationwide and context-specific data consolidation and allows linkage with other data sources. The plan also includes providing professional support and expertise for a clinical-scientific evaluation of the consolidated data.
