PLATO 2
The law on the consolidation of cancer registry data passed in mid-2021 creates the framework conditions for the nationwide consolidation of medical treatment data of people suffering from cancer. Leading oncological organizations and representatives of cancer registration want to jointly develop a concept for a platform that enables data to be merged nationwide and on an ad hoc basis and allows it to be linked to other data sources, as provided for in the law. It is also planned to provide technical support and expertise for the clinical-scientific evaluation of the merged data.
